Our Philosophy
Both Lisa and Andrew have a similar work ethic. They both offer a personal service to clients that is often difficult to achieve in a larger practice. When you telephone or email it is the principals that answer, no secretary, no junior staff and no call centre!
This allows the practice to provide what they consider to be an excellent service at a cost that they are sure you will find competitive.
History
Southwell Associates is based in Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Shropshire. It has been offering accounting and tax advice to clients throughout the UK since 1983.
The practice was established by Philip Southwell following a career with the Inland Revenue and subsequently in the accountancy profession dealing with most aspects of taxation.
Lisa joined the practice in 2003 following a career within accounting and taxation with a regional practice, KPMG and Ernst & Young in Birmingham and AT&T the US owned telecoms multinational.
Andrew joined the practice in 2011 following a career in taxation with KPMG, Veolia Environnement, the global French utility business, and Emerson Electric the US corporate.
The Future
The practice is under the day to day control of Lisa and Andrew. Philip has now taken a well deserved retirement but continues to offer help and advice to clients and the practice on a consultancy basis.
